Kona, Hawaii

This 22 kW solar power plant takes High Gain Solar to new heights -- literally! It's elevated 15 feet above a parking lot. Six of the fourteen High Gain Solar arrays are visible in the photo to the right, which was taken near the end of construction.

This installation is located in Kona, Hawaii at the headquarters of Metcalf West, a leading construction firm. The project was dedicated by Hawai’i Governor Linda Lingle, Hawai’i County Mayor Billy Kenoi and Terry Metcalf, CEO of Metcalf West, on August 31, 2010. (View 3-minute video.)
